BMBF Manager Download

The utility to install songs, install mods, install/update BMBF, install HitSounds, download automatically made playlists, get better support, switch between the modded and unmodded Beat Saber Version, do full backups, edit playlists, transfer your song library, install Qosmetics and way more

Please note that BMBF Manager only works natively on Windows!

Important

For BMBF Manager to work properly you have to enable developer mode on your Quest. You can find a written guide here

The First Time you launch the program it asks you for administrative access. If you want the best support click yes. otherwise no. [can be changed any time in the settings]

Don't put BMBF Manager into any Program directory unless you are willing to run it as Administrator every time. Put it in your downloads folder, documents folder or Desktop to name a few

Main Menu

Install/Update BMBF

Connect your Quest to your PC with a USB Cable and open "BMBF Manager.exe". Make sure you have Beat Saber and have at least opened it once. Then hit "Update/Install BMBF". Read the pop ups carefully and follow them.. After it has finished you are ready to go.

Switch between modded and unmodded Beat Saber

Connect your Quest to your PC with a USB cable, open "BMBF Manager.exe" and hit "Switch between modded and unmodded Beat Saber". Wait a bit and you will be able to play multiplayer again/play again with mods and custom Songs.

Song Installing

Install new Songs

1. Option

Open "BMBF Manager.exe", put in your Quests IP [if it hasn't picked it up automatically] and click "Install Songs". Put a Search term in the box named "Search Term" and hit "Search". Select the Song you want from the list below. Then check if it is the right Song by clicking "See Song Metadata". If it is the right Song click "Install Song". The Song will install to your Quest.

2. Option

Open "BMBF Manager.exe", put in your Quests IP [if it hasn't picked it up automatically] and click "Install Songs". Then go to BeatSaver.com and search for your Song. Put the Song Key shown in the Song Key box in the new window that appeared.

Check if it is the right Song by clicking "See Song Metadata" or double clicking the entry in the list. If it is the right Song click "Install Song". The Song will install to your Quest.

Mod Installing

  1. Output Box
  2. Quest IP textBox
  3. List with all mods for your Beat Saber Version
  4. Shows more Info of the Mod you choose
  5. Install Button for the mod you choose from the list.
  6. Update all Mods
  7. Uninstalls the selected mod
  8. Shows current operation
  9. progress of current operation

Colors:

Red = Update exists. Yellow = Not Installed Green = Newest Version installed

Install new Mods

Open "BMBF Manager.exe", put in your Quests IP [if it hasn't picked it up automatically] and click "Install Mods". Then choose a mod from the list and click "More Info", if you want more Info about the mod you choose. click "Install selected mod" once you selected a Mod. The Mod will install to your Quest.

Qosmetics Installing

  1. Output Box
  2. Bot to put your Quests IP
  3. List with QSabers
  4. List with QWalls
  5. List with QBloqs
  6. Picture of the selected QSaber
  7. Picture of the selected QWall
  8. Picture of the selected QBloq
  9. Opens the Picture of the selected QSaber in your Browser
  10. Opens the Picture of the selected QWall in your Browser
  11. Opens the Picture of the selected QBloq in your Browser
  12. Adds the selected QSaber to the download queue
  13. Adds the selected QWall to the download queue
  14. Adds the selected QBloq to the download queue
  15. Shows the original message of the selected QSaber
  16. Shows the original message of the selected QWall
  17. Shows the original message of the selected QBloq
  18. Shows the current operation
  19. Progress of current operation

Install new Qosmetics

Open "BMBF Manager.exe", put in your Quests IP [if it hasn't picked it up automatically] and click "Install Qosmetics". Then select the Qosmetic you want and click the corresponding "add to queue" button.

Note: You need the Qosmetics mod which the program should install by itself for Qosmetics to work.

Histsound Installing

  1. Output Box
  2. Quest IP TextBox
  3. Button to choose the Sound you want.
  4. Box that shows the path to the sound
  5. Check Box to install the Sound as HitSound
  6. Check Box to install the Sound as Bad HitSound
  7. Check Box to install the Sound as Menu Music
  8. Check Box to install the Sound as Manu Click
  9. Check Box to install the Sound as Highscore music
  10. Check Box to install the Sound as Level Cleared
  11. Button to install the Sound
  12. Reset selected HitSounds

Install HitSounds

Open "BMBF Manager.exe", put in your Quests IP [if it hasn't picked it up automatically] and click "Install HitSounds". Then choose your desired sound via the choose button and then check the box which sound it should bee. Then hit the install button and the Song [and meybe the QuestSounds mod if you don't have it] will install.

BPList downloading

  1. Output Box
  2. Quest IP TextBox
  3. How many songs to download.
  4. From which user to download the Bookmarks.
  5. Button to install ranked Songs to your Quest.
  6. Install Bookmarked Songs from the User you specified.

Download BPLists

Open "BMBF Manager.exe", put in your Quests IP [if it hasn't picked it up automatically] and click "Download BPLists". Then put in how many songs you want and click "Install ranked Songs from ScoreSaber" to get ranked songs from Scoresaber. The Songs will install to your Quest and you have to Click Sync to Beat Saber once it appears.

BMBF and Beat Saber Backup Utility

  1. Output Box
  2. Box to put in your Quests IP
  3. Box to put in your Backup Name

  6. Check to restore Playlists

Backup BMBF and Beat Saber

Open "BMBF Manager.exe", put in your Quests IP [if it hasn't picked it up automatically] and click "BMBF and Beat Saber Backup Utility".Then click "Backup" and wait a few minutes until everything has finished.

Backup game Version

Open "BMBF Manager.exe", put in your Quests IP [if it hasn't picked it up automatically] and click "BMBF and Beat Saber Backup Utility".Then click "Advanced Backup" and wait a few minutes until everything has finished.

Restore BMBF and Beat Saber

Open "BMBF Manager.exe", put in your Quests IP [if it hasn't picked it up automatically] and click "BMBF and Beat Saber Backup Utility". Then Click the Boxes to choose what to restore and select a Backup in the dropdown Menu. After that click "Restore" and wait a few minutes until it has finished.

Playlist Editor

  1. Output Box
  2. Box to put in your Quests IP
  3. Button to load Playlists
  4. Button to save Changes
  5. Amount of Songs in all Playlists

  10. Creates a new Playlist with the name of 9.

FOR ALL: Open "BMBF Manager.exe", put in your Quests IP [if it hasn't picked it up automatically] and click "Playlist Editor". Then click "Load Playlists" if your Playlists aren't already loaded. The left Playlist is the one that's in BMBF and the right one is to put your songs when switching Playlists. Please check at the top of the page to see a description for each button. Press "Save Playlists" to commit your changes to BMBF.

You can select multiple entries with ctrl + clicking. This will execute [almost] every operation on every selected song.

Edit Playlists

You can move your songs with the buttons in the middle. Switch Playlist and move your songs.

Delete Songs

Select the song you want to delete and click the "remove song" button in the middle.

Create new Playlist

Type a Playlist name in the corresponding text box and then hit "Create new Playlist".

Rename existing Playlist

Type a Playlist name in the corresponding text box, select the playlist you want to rename and hit "Rename Playlist".

Export Playlist as BPList

Select the Playlist you want to export and hit "Export Playlist as BPList"

Import a BPList

click the "Import BPList" button and follow the given instructions.

Change Playlist Cover

Select the Playlist where you want to change the cover and hit "Change Playlist Cover". Then select a new Cover.

Delete Playlist

Select the Playlist you want to delete and hit "Delete Playlist".

Show anything of the song

select the song you want and click any of the four buttons in the middle.

Quest Song Utilities

  1. Output Box
  2. Box to put in your Quests IP
  3. Choose your Source Folder
  4. Shows your Source Folder
  5. Choose your Destination Folder
  6. Shows your Destination Folder
  7. check to make List of Songs
  8. check to only check zip files
  9. check to overwrite existing zips
  10. check to enable auto mode
  11. Start Button
  12. Box to put in the name for your Playlist Backup
  13. Button to Backup Playlists
  14. drop down menu to choose your Playlist Backup
  15. Button to Restore Playlists
  16. Copy the Song library from Quest to PC and vice versa

Save Songs

Open "BMBF Manager.exe", put in your Quests IP [if it hasn't picked it up automatically] and click "Quest Song Utilities" Check "Auto Mode [Quest only]" [adb or SideQuest required]. Then click start and wait a few minutes [about 1 - 6]. After it has finished it'll let you know how many Songs it zipped.

Make Song List

Do everything as above and check "Make List of all songs". This will create a List of all Your Songs with information like Song name, BPM, Song sub name, song author, etc.

How to do Playlist Backups

Open "BMBF Manager.exe", put in your Quests IP [if it hasn't picked it up automatically] and click "Quest Song Utilities". Then enter a Backup name and click "Backup Playlists". The It'll save your Playlists.

Note: It Does Not save Songs. Only Playlist Configuration gets saved.

How to restore Playlists

Open "BMBF Manager.exe", put in your Quests IP [if it hasn't picked it up automatically] and click "Quest Song Utilities". Then choose the Backup in the drop down menu. Then press Restore Playlists.

Transfer Song library

This will transfer your Songs from your Quest to your PC or from your PC to your Quest Open "BMBF Manager.exe", put in your Quests IP [if it hasn't picked it up automatically] and click "Quest Song Utilities". Then press "Transfer song library", follow the instructions and wait a few minutes until it finished. [ignore not responding]

Settings

  3. Choose a Custom Background
  4. Reset the Custom Background
  5. Enable/Disable Custom Protocols
  6. Button to enable Beat Saver One Click Install
  7. Button to import Backups from BBBU if you just switched
  8. Button to import Backups from QSU if you just switched
  9. Button to enable adb windows. [not reccommended unless you are debugging]
  10. Toggle Keep Alive [wakes the quest from sleep every 15 seconds]
  11. Enable/Disable Discord rich presence
  12. Select Language
  13. Show credits

How to change the language

Put your language file into the languages folder next to BMBF Manager. Then you should be able to select the language from the drop down in the settings menu.

Note:

  • Everything translated by Google translate might not fit in the UI or be weird until it's proofreaded by a human
  • Every translation is done for free and in free time so don't exspect everything to be correct and exspect missing translations [Humans want breaks too and Google Translate translations takes about 20 min so I won't translate every update in every language]
