Gladen is a German car hifi brand that satisfies audiophiles with products skewed towards a more laid-back listening experience. Primarily tuned for clarify of sound, it has won the hearts ofmany audiophiles who prefer crisp vocals to punchy performance. But recently, the company has expanded their product portfolio with the inclusion of Aerospace, an entirely different system capable of withstanding high pressure.
This 3-Way system includes a 20mm tweeter, 3” phase plug midrange and a 6.5” dust cap mid-woofer. The rear chamber tweeters with hand coated soft domes are made of materials primarily associated only with high-end systems. This system is certainly not the cheapest in its class, but what you get in return is the benchmark of high precision engineering.

Attention to detail, perfection, and music Gladen Henning has already led to the development of loudspeaker and crossover systems in the 1990s. In 1997 the GLADEN brand was launched. Today the aerospace engineer leads to GLADEN development technologies that are also used in the aerospace or automotive industry, such as FEM calculations. But even with many technical details GLADEN AUDIO accompanies its products in unusual and new ways, with a single goal: the perfect sound experience!
Only high-quality components are used for GLADEN loudspeakers, which are based on the highest standards. These include fiber or composite membranes, Nomex centering spiders, cast aluminum baskets and fabric tweeters. The strands are weighed and only high temperature resistant adhesives are used.
Aerospace is Gladen Audio's top-range made in Germany. The cones on 6.5 inch and 3.5 inch are made of 7 layers Paper/carbon fleece/high performance polymer. This combination had excellent internal damping and stiffness for a very smooth and extended high frequency response. 20mm silk soft dome tweeter is very smooth and detailed with excellent off-axis frequency response so it integrates easily with car acoustics. All have neodymium magnets for compact shallow dimensions and high efficiency.

6.5 woofer has studio monitor style motor - undercut T pole with copper Faraday ring. Midrange has dual magnets for highest efficiency. Tweeter has a rear air chamber heat sink. Recommended active crossover frequencies; 80 Hz, 400 Hz, 4000 Hz 24 dB Linkwitz-Riley. Motors are FEA optimized for lowest distortion and intermodulation. Baskets are FEA optimized for strength, stiffness and resonance.
