  This show is really great and a must see. The cinematography, storyline, and acting is great. Very unique and a shame there's no SE3.

  Yup, now I'm mad that there's no season 3. This show has really grown on me and I can see now why it has the cult following that it does. I already was heavily getting into it after S1 and S2 just raises the stakes even more. It's meticulously plotted, fantastically acted, and all around is the type of show that really makes me appreciate TV. I love the fact that everything matters. It's one of the more unique shows that I've seen recently and one that I basically can't put into words. Even as something as seemingly simple as the colour palette can be analysed and interpretted. It really feels like a labour of love and I'm surprised I didn't hear about it until recently. Shoutout to my supervisor at work for the recommendation as this show is definitely worth watching.

  The first season was amazing, the characters, the writing, the direction, everything was awesome. The second season shouldn't have been made. The story is based off of the first season and that isn't enough to make this worth watching. I was totally disappointed.

  After season 1 lays all the cards on the table for its mystery, season 2 wonderfully builds off of everything season 1 set up. Choosing to flesh out the story, characters, and world we've come to love, Utopia season 2, albeit a different story than its first story, is a fantastic follow-up.

  So, it is a different kind of story altogether. Mostly because it abandons majority of rigid plot structure that the first series clinged to perhaps a bit too strongly, and this sets it absolutely free. That leads, in turn, both to some unexpected and unnecessary turns and twists [the identity of the old, bearded man, for example, or the whole thing with Becky at the very end] and some great subversions that finally make it to this already crazy world. It is a terrible, terrible shame that we did not, in the end, get to the conclusion of it all - the utopia or the dystopia - and, instead, need to turn our heads to the American remake. After the pure goodness that the British original turned out to be, I really do not know, if I will even check out the residue that Amazon is trying to sell us.

  It wasn't bad but there was nothing compared to the first season. It felt like one of those shows that they never mapped out the ending.

  Eat my Fxxking Chip!!' Fringe story telling at its best, great performances, interesting colour palette, eccentric soundtrack & glorious camera framing. I missed this when it first viewed on Channel 4 in the UK, and have now viewed series 1 & 2 on amazon and i know i will view this show again. It grabbed me in the first 2mins and 7 seconds. I'll now watch the US remake , which has some big shoes to fill thats for sure and compare. If nothing else the US amazon remake may help people find this excellent UK mystery show.

  The first episode of this series is excellent and stands up to the high standard set by series 1. In particular, Rose Leslie's performance is outstanding as a young Milner. The rest of the series has many of the good elements from the first, but the plot surrounding Carvel and Milner dilutes the Network's malevolent conspiracy into a ramshackle, lovers' tiff.
