Most of the RTX 3070 laptops on this list are all fairly similar. The differences between them range from different screen sizes, different screen resolutions [the Gigabyte Aero 15 comes with a 4K resolution display], the amount of storage they have, their refresh rate, their processor, and their price. However, while that is a lot of categories for differences, within those categories, the differences are minor [especially in the core hardware, like processors, where even if there is a difference, there wont be a significant change in performance.]

But, all of the options on this list come with an Intel Core i7 or Ryzen 9 processor, 16GB-32GB of RAM, and, of course, an RTX 3070 GPU. So, based on those specs alone, most of these laptops will provide similar performance.

But, in our opinion, at ~$2,600, the Razer Blade Pro 17 offers the best price-to-performance out of the other options on this list. It icomes with a bigger 17.3-inch screen and it boasts a 360Hz refresh rate. It also comes with an Intel Core i7-10875H processor, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB NVME SSD.

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G15 and ASUS TUF Dash 15 listed below are both cheaper. And, each have their own perks. However, both have smaller screens and lower refresh rate. If you dont mind a smaller screen, though, you might want to consider either of those choices as an alternative.

The one downside of the MSI GE65 Raider, though, is thatthanks to its larger screenit does cost a bit more than the other options on this list. If you want a Ryzen processor, or a higher resolution screen, or more storage and memory, and you dont mind sacrificing screen size and refresh rate, you might want to check out the other options below.

2. ASUS ROG Zephyrus 15.6

If you want to save a little bit of money, or you want a Ryzen processor in your laptop, then youll probably want to consider ASUSs ROG Zephyrus G15 15.6-inch RTX 3070 laptop.

This ASUS model comes with an AMD Ryzen 9-5900HS processor, 16GB of RAM, and a 15.6-inch 1440P 165Hz display. It also comes with a 1TB SSD.

The main selling point of the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G15 is its 1440P 165Hz display and its Ryzen 9 processor. The higher resolution display will give you better visuals without hurting performance too much [as would opting for a 4K resolution RTX 3070 laptop]. And, the refresh rate is still plenty high enough to deliver and extremely smooth in-game experience

If you dont need the upgraded processor or the higher resolution screen, though, and you just want the most affordable RTX 3070 laptop on the market, then the ASUS TUF Dash 15 listed below would be worth checking out.

3. ASUS TUF Dash 15.6

At just over $1,800, the ASUS TUF Dash 15brings a ton of performance to the table. Obviously, you get and RTX 3070 GPU, which should be powerful enough to max out any game you throw at it on this laptops 1080P monitor.

But, you also get an Intel Core i7-11370H processor, 24GB of memory, and a 15.6-inch 1080P 240Hz display. And, while it isnt the most powerful version of Intels new i7 lineup of processors, the Intel Core i7-11370H will still be more than enough to handle any in-game scenario.

The bottom line, though, is that, while the ASUS TUF Dash 15 doesnt have the best specs out of all of the laptops on this list, it does come with a pricetag that is significantly lower than its competitors. And, because the core components in the ASUS TUF Dash 15 [the CPU, GPU, and RAM] are pretty much identical to the other laptops on this list, it wont lag that far behind the other options in terms of in-game performance as well.

So, if you want to save some money without sacrificing too much performance, the ASUS TUF Dash 15 is probably your best bet.

4. Gigabyte Aero 15.6

Best 4K RTX 3070 laptop

On a hardware basis, the Gigabyte Aero 15 is a worthy option for anyone who wants a 4K laptop that will deliver a solid gaming experience. Its a tough sell, though, because for basically the same price, you could land the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G15, which, while it doesnt have a 4K display, it does come with a 1440P display, a higher refresh rate, and a better CPU.

But, if you are deadset on a 4K gaming laptop, the Gigabyte Aero 15 isnt a bad option. Its Intel Core i7-11800H processor, 16GB of RAM, and its RTX 3070 GPU are good enough to have you playing most games at ~60 FPS on max settings.

5. Alienware m15 R4 15.6

Honorable mention #1

Another worthy RTX 3070 laptop option worth mentioned is Alienwares m15 R4. In terms of hardware, the m15 R4 has a solid setup.

Along with its Intel Core i7-10870H processor, RTX 3070 GPU, 16GB of RAM, 1TB SSD, and 1080P screen, it also comes with a 300Hz display. That makes it second on this list only to the Razer Blade Pro 17 in terms of refresh rate.

However, the downside of the Alienware m15 R4 is the fact that it comes in at just under ~$2,400. The makes it more expensive than a couple of just-as-powerful-options on this list. And, while those laptops may not have an identical hardware configuration, the lower pricetag they do offer make them more attractive options.

Still, though, the 300Hz refresh rate and slightly lower pricetag than the Razer Blade Pro 17 make this Alienware laptop worth taking a look at.

6. CUK GS66 Stealth 15.6

Another Honorable Mention pick that is worth mentioning is CUKs GS66 Stealth 15.6-inch laptop. As with most of our Honorable Mention picks, it isnt necessarily their hardware configuration that prevents them from making our Top Picks section, but, rather, the price they come in at.

And, at $2,500, there are better RTX 3070 laptops out there than the CUK GS66 Stealth. The Razer Blade Pro 17 offers a bigger screen and a higher refresh rate for ~$150 more. And, the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G15 and the ASUS TUF Dash 15 come in at a lower price and offer a better price-to-performance ratio than the CUK GS66 Stealth.

But, we feel it necessary to include a few Honorable Mention picks like the CUK GS66 Stealth, because prices change all the time. And, if at the time of reading this article, the CUK GS66 Stealth comes in at a significantly lower pricetag, that would make it a more attractive option and one you should definitely consider.

7. CUK GP66 Leopard 15.6

Honorable mention #3

Another sub-$2,000 RTX 3070 laptop that is worth checking out in case the price drops below the ASUS TUF Dash 15 is the CUK GP66 Leopard. In terms of specs, the CUK GP66 Leopard trails behind the Dash 15 in basically every category. However, it comes with a nearly ~$150 price increase.

And, while the hardware differences arent that significant, theres no point in paying more to get slightly less performance. But, again, the CUK GP66 Leopard would be worth considering if the price on dropped below where the ASUS TUF Dash 15 is currently listed at. Until then, though, it will remain an Honorable Mention.
