I wanted a Window PC that I could have with me constantly. I couldn't deccide whether it should be a small laptop or a tablet - so I purchased a "renewed" Latitude 7275 that can function as both. I have used Dell Latitudes in the corporate world for more than a decade - I still have 3 of them - so I already knew what to expect in terms of build and reliability. The little refurbed PC arrived promptly and looked exactly like a new item. With its modest specs and mobile processor, I knew it wouldn't be a "barn-burner", but I don't need it to crunch big spreadsheets. Rather, I can go online or into Dropbox from anywhere and look up municipal permits, supply orders or work agreements for my construction projects. And it has a decent keyboard as well and is perfectly comfortable to use for routine business tasks, editorials (like this review) and correspondence on the road. It functions perfectly and reliably - if not super fast - and it's so small and easy to carry that I always have it with me. A real bargain at the price, and I wouldn't leave home without it!

Top critical review

1.0 out of 5 starsWorst “renewed” purchase I’ve made. Find something else!

On arrival the case “fabric” was dirty and stained, the keyboard glue was failing, and the plastic molding around the power button was broken. I should’ve sent it back upon receiving it in that condition. But the tablet wasn’t going to be used for much more than a video player. After it stopped working just outside of the 90 day return window I really wished I had returned the tablet. Turns out, my “renewed” tablet wasn’t just dirty on the outside… it had been poorly repaired on the inside.

I’m an IT person. So when the tablet stopped charging and powering on I took a look inside to find the issue. Turns out my “Renewed” tablet was a repaired tablet. Not only that the repair failed… but wait there’s more… all of the internal shielding was cut (photo) and the processors heatsink / shield had been opened, but the thermal paste wasn’t replaced. It was merely opened and closed back up leaving the processor without a heat sink! No wonder it would just turn off some times 😒

Now the repair… looks like my usb-c charging port that failed had already been repaired. Upon inspection I could see a wire jumper above the PCB trace for the second pin (photo). Repaired is not the same as renewed. Renewed means it’s a used product that was restored to factory defaults and maybe cleaned up and updated. Not shoddily repaired / patched up and resold. My worst purchase from Amazon.

I bought this to have a better option for a table with keyboard to do light computing with. (Think Webbrowsing, email, some word processing, etc.) had looked at Surface pro devices, but this actually had better specs than those that I had looked at. To be honest, I was really looking at Chromebooks, too, but seeing the specs of this device vs. most Chromebooks, this was a no brainer. The one I received was clean and had minimal wear. The only "con" is it has a single dead pixel on the screen that shows when the screen is mostly black. That's my ONLY complaint. I did have to reach out to the seller due to Windows not being activated, and they were AMAZING to get me up and running correctly. I'd buy from this seller again in a heartbeat! I bought a pen for this from Dell (off Amazon) but to be honest, I don't feel like I need it, but it's nice sometimes.

Bought this for simple spreadsheets and other basic work tasks; daughter uses it for Minecraft and film making also. The camera wasn't working but the seller replaced it with an external camera and all is good now, Keyboard and battery both work great. Would buy from them again.

Refurbisher primetimebuys didn't bother to check if the charger worked or not before shipping. Hopefully nothing else goes wrong. Laptop seems to be pretty great so far otherwise.

Like new, compact, fast, easy to carry and use...it can be good to buy a cover to protect the tablet, when you are not using it with the keyboard......

I bought this for my wife, who uses it sparingly for email and some web surfing. She absolutely loves it. It is much faster than I expected it to be with the M5 processor, and looks and functions perfectly.

Definitely appeared to be the best deal for the price. I was pleased with it until the battery consistently died between 70%-80% battery. According to the computers diagnostics the battery health was at 90% of factory capacity meaning there was something else going on with the computer. When I tried to call for support it took me straight to voicemail and said the voicemail box was full. To me it seems like a scam but I can’t speak to the quality of the rest of their products.
