Ngày 04/11/2022, Hội nghị các nhà phát triển Huawei 2022 đã được tổ chức. Tại hội nghị, Huawei Terminal BG COO He Gang cho biết Huawei sẽ phát hành HarmonyOS 4 vào năm tới.

Hệ điều hành HarmonyOS 1.0 ra mắt đầu tiên năm 2020. Mặt khác, Huawei cũng đã phát hành phiên bản HarmonyOS 2.0 Beta dành cho nhà phát triển cho màn hình thông minh, thiết bị đeo thông minh và các sản phẩm xe hơi.

Và cũng trong tháng 6 năm 2021, Huawei HarmonyOS 2 chính thức ra mắt công chúng. Vào tháng 7 năm nay, một lần nữa Huawei phát hành HarmonyOS 3. phiên bản này được xây dựng dựa trên thành công của thế hệ trước với những cập nhật và tối ưu hóa toàn diện.

Huawei cho biết HarmonyOS sẽ tập trung hơn vào năm thứ tư này, với tám công nghệ sáng tạo làm nền tảng của Harmony, hơn 30.000 API làm nền tảng của Harmony và bộ công cụ phát triển tự liên kết đầy đủ là công cụ của Harmony , để xây dựng thế giới Hài hòa cùng với các nhà phát triển toàn cầu.

Theo dữ liệu do Giám đốc điều hành Huawei Terminal BG Yu Chengdong công bố vào đầu ngày hôm nay, số lượng thiết bị Huawei được trang bị hệ điều hành HarmonyOS đã vượt quá 320 triệu chiếc, tăng 113% so với cùng kỳ năm ngoái; số lượng sản phẩm HarmonySmart xuất xưởng vượt 250 triệu chiếc, tăng 212% so với cùng kỳ năm ngoái.

Huawei-Zhixing signs memorandum to create new smart cockpit solutions

Huawei has recently signed a new memorandum with Junlian Zhixing cooperation to create unique smart cockpit solutions. Accordingly, the Chinese manufacturer is trying to widen its car solution platform and make it more effective for users.

Junlian Zhixing is a subsidiary firm of Joyson Electronics. In 2021, the company came in touch with Huawei to develop excellent inventions for SUV models. Once again, both cooperations have joined hands to create some more new solutions.

According to the latest information, Huawei initiated a comprehensive memorandum with Zhixing to stretch its smart cockpit solutions. In other words, both parties will invent smart travel-based solutions for the HiCar models.

Currently, Huawei has begun research and development in this aspect. The company is inspecting the mass-produced HiCar models equipped with compatible auto parts and components.

At the same time, the information also suggests that Huawei will add some new features to the HarmonyOS smart cockpits. Eventually, this would be an advantage to all the smart vehicles that are using the HarmonyOS car operating system.

It’s worth mentioning that Joyson firm and its subsidiaries have extended their partnership with Huawei. Undoubtedly, the reason is the unified and coherent performance of Huawei smart car solutions and other products.

5G base stations exceeds 2 million in China: Huawei Chairman

Meanwhile, the optical fiber coverage rate reaches 99%.

He said that all regions have invested heavily in data centers and supercomputing centers in the country exceeding 150EFlops, which now ranks second in the world.

Last September, the total number of mobile communication base stations in China reached 10.72 million, which includes the total number of mobile base stations. As numbers reveal, of the 510 million 5G users, over 30 percent have accounted for smartphone users.

Leak says ‘HiSilicon Kirin chips will return next year’ but Huawei denies

It has been two years, since Huawei stopped printing new Kirin new chipsets but recently, a leak spread over Weibo that Huawei will meet next year with Kirin’s return. However, the Chinese tech maker has now come up to clarify the matter.

Huawei confirmed to Chinese media that the report of Kirin returning next year is not true and the company will have no other words to say about this matter.

A Weibo tipster claimed that an internal HiSilicon engineer has leaked that the progress of chip research and development is going smoothly and the company is ready to produce the chipset, while final approval is still awaited.

This is quite an alluring piece of text for enthusiasts but there’s no source to confirm, as Huawei has now denied it as well.

Huawei Ban:

In 2019, Huawei was banned by the U.S. under Entity List, which blocks the company from printing new chipsets from TSMC chip manufacturers. Therefore, the company had to give up on the new Kirin chip and move on to third-party sources such as Qualcomm.

Over the past two years, Huawei saved a big stock of Kirin 9000, the last flaghip mobile processor from HiSilicon but it has already come to an end.

As of now, Huawei has released various Kirin processors including Kirin 9000, Kirin 9000E, Kirin 990 5G, Kirin 990, Kirin 980, Kirin 970, Kirin 960, Kirin 950, Kirin 930, Kirin 920, Kirin 910 is the flagship series. Kirin 985, Kirin 820, Kirin 810, Kirin 710, Kirin 650, and Kirin 620 are mid-to-high-end series.

Huawei Mate 60:

A report also suggests that the Huawei Mate 60 series may launch with a new chipset, which could be from Kirin. Still, nothing is officially confirmed at the moment.
