The 2023 Telluride comes equipped with the same 3.8-liter V-6 engine and eight-speed automatic transmission as previous models and continues to offer 291 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque. The naturally aspirated engine should offer roughly the same fuel economy as the 2022 Kia Telluride. This means that the standard FWD model would offer 20/26 MPG in the city and on the highway, respectively, while the optional AWD model would deliver 19/24 MPG. This means that the Telluride competes with similar V-6-powered SUVs in its class. As with previous models, the 2023 Telluride offers four drive modes, including Smart, Eco, Sport, and Comfort. With AWD, you’ll have Snow and AWD Lock drive modes to help you to tackle the winter weather. The Telluride calibrates the ride height automatically for optimal control in any conditions. It features an independent suspension to deliver a smooth feeling. The 2023 Kia Telluride comes standard with Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA) and Forward-Collision Avoidance – Junction Turning (FCA-JT).
