I just cannot switch it on. It doesn't have a removeable battery and have tried holding down the power switch for 45 secs but absolutely nothing, is there anyway I can reset it. It's not very old and hasn't been used much, just completely stuck ! Thanks. 0 ModernWarfareHonorableJan 26, 201445010,6108 Aug 15, 2015
in that case its a faulty hardware problem. 0 ModernWarfareHonorableJan 26, 201445010,6108 Aug 15, 2015

fletch3961 : Hello...OK I have done a few of these lately ....all with the same result...A faulty ddr3 ram ......killing the CPU and leaving the laptop with 5 blinking amber lights......both the GFX_CORE line and CPU_CORE lines where short circuit......both controlled by the CPU. When I removed the CPU the short circuit was also removed. As this is a motherboard fault not everyone will know what to do to check the faults, And it might not always be the same problem. Hope this helps. So... After removing the short circuit, could you put the cpu back in and the computer work just fine? |
