What can I do if Chrome Remote Desktop is not working?

1. Press Windows Key + R and enter regedit. Press Enter or click OK.
   
2. Navigate to the following key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies
   
3. Right-click the Policies key and choose New and then select Key.
   
4. Enter Google as the name of the new key.
5. Navigate to the newly created Google key.
6. Right-click the Google key, choose New, and select Key.
7. Enter Chrome as the name of the new key.
8. Navigate to the Chrome key you just created.
9. Right-click the empty space in the right pane and choose New and select DWORD [32-bit] Value.
   
10. Set the name of the DWOD to RemoteAccessHostAllowClientPairing. Double-click the newly created DWORD.
11. Change Value data to 1 and click OK.

Check for permission issues

Repair Chrome Remote Desktop tool

Uninstall Remote Desktop tool

1. Press Windows Key + R to open Run.
2. Type appwiz.cpl and click OK.
   
3. Select Chrome Remote Desktop Host. Click on Uninstall.
   
4. Click Yes to confirm the action.
5. Once uninstalled, go to Chrome Remote Desktop and reinstall the app.

If the issue persists even after uninstalling Remote Desktop Host, reinstall Google Chrome.

Reinstall Google Chrome

1. Make sure Chrome Remote Desktop is uninstalled.
2. Next, press the Windows key and type control.
3. Click on Control Panel.
4. Click on Uninstall Program.
5. Select Google Chrome and click on Uninstall.
   
6. Click Yes to confirm the action.
7. Once uninstalled, reinstall Google Chrome.
8. Also, reinstall the Chrome Remote Desktop app.

Once both the apps are installed, use the Remote Desktop app to check if the connection issue is resolved.
