Collagen Boost PDO threads involve the placement of smooth, absorbable threads underneath the skin. The threads contain polydioxanone (PDO) which is a biodegradable polymer that is slowly absorbed by your body over time.

The threads dissolve over time, creating collagen in the treated area, resulting in a plumper and more youthful complexion.

Collagen Boost treats include face, brow, jaw and chin or tear trough.

Results may be visible immediately but generally develop over time as the PDO threads stimulate collagen production. Results last for up to 12 months as the threads naturally dissolve and are broken down by your body. Annual treatments are recommended for optimum results.

Avoid blood-thinning medication (e.g. aspirin ibuprofen, fish oil, and St John’s wort) one week prior

Prior to your first treatment, our clinician will consult with you to assess your suitability for Collagen Boost PDO threads and discuss any concerns or questions you may have.

The procedure involves the threads being inserted under selected areas of the skin using a canula and needle. A numbing agent will be applied 45 minutes prior to treatment to minimise discomfort.
