1.2.1. Phần mở đầu của thư xin nhập học tiếng Anh
Trong phần mở đầu thư xin nhập học bằng tiếng Anh bạn sẽ viết tên và địa chỉ của bản thân. Trong đó tên của bạn được viết ở dòng đầu tiên. Còn địa chỉ sẽ viết ở dòng thứ hai, ngay bên dưới tên của bạn. Phần này sẽ không viết tên tỉnh hay thành phố. Tên tỉnh hay tên thành phố sẽ được viết ở dòng thứ ba. Nội dung tiếp theo là thông tin về ngày tháng năm bạn gửi Thư xin nhập học. Lưu ý về cách viết ngày tháng trong tiếng Anh sẽ được viết là Tháng/ Ngày/ Năm
Ví dụ, ngày 15 tháng 8 năm 2022 sẽ viết như sau: August 15, 2022.
Tiếp đến là thông tin về tên của người phụ trách công tác tuyển sinh và tên trường đại học cùng với địa chỉ của trường đại học đó. Các nội dung sẽ được trình bày lần lượt: tên người phụ trách công tác tuyển sinh viết ở riêng một dòng. Dòng tiếp theo là tên trường đại học. Địa chỉ trường sẽ được viết tiếp ở dòng tiếp theo. Dòng cuối cùng sẽ là tên thành phố, tiểu bang và mã “zip code”.
Ví dụ:
“Joan Amanda
University of Santa Ana

Nội dung tiếp theo sẽ là lười chào đầu thư “Dear”
- Đừng quên lời chào đầu thư sau đó là tên của người phụ trách công tác tuyển sinh kèm với dấu phẩy được đặt ở sau tên.

1.2.2. Nội dung trong thư xin nhập học Tiếng Anh
Trong phần nội dung của thư xin nhập học bằng Tiếng Anh bạn hãy chú ý viết thật cẩn thận vì đây là nội dung chính và là cơ sở để bộ phận tuyển sinh xem xét và quyết định thư xin nhập học của bạn. Ở phần này bạn cần dựa vào những yêu cầu mà trường đại học đó đã công bố và bày tỏ được sự quan tâm của mình đối với trường bằng cách đề cập đến chương trình học mà bạn muốn ứng tuyển vào.
