I have deceided to make 2 lists. First list will be the games that I enjoyed in single player mode and the second list is for the games i love to play in multiplayer mode(online).

Here is my Top 22 favourite games. The ranking is based on the level of entertainment value gained from playing the game and how memorable the experience was.

Great cinematic cutscenes, a storyline that has you hooked from the start and colourful characters that join you on your quest. The First has a better storyline than the 2nd one but I love some of the improvements they made in MF2 (colourful characters and great side quest mission), plus I can't wait for the third and final installment. Best Role-Playing Game ever.
• After surviving a bullet to the head, Courier Six traverses the post-apocalyptic Mojave desert in search of the men who wronged him, while making an impact on thousands in the process. DirectorJosh SawyerStarsMatthew PerryWayne NewtonKris Kristofferson I'm a huge fan of the Fallout games and Fallout 2 is my favourite title for strategy turn base games, until new vegas came out. The developers for New Vegas were Obsidian Entertainment (many employees of which worked for Black Isle Studios on Fallout and Fallout 2) and they sure did a fantastic job. I felt the storyline and characters to be richer than Fallout 3. I still miss the turn base element but the Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System (V.A.T.S) was great in keeping some of that turn base element in this game. Super fun and a must for RPG gamers.
• Dr. Freeman is taken out of stasis by his "employer" to help rid the planet of invading aliens forces known as the Combine that entered through the portals he helped create. DirectorDavid SpeyrerStarsRobert GuillaumeRobert CulpLouis Gossett Jr. A classic game that has you playing as a bad ass scientist with a mean crowbar as his trusted weapon. A game that set the standards high in FPS games in terms of gameplay, storyline, and graphics.
• Because aliens are attempting to invade the Earth, you will have to command X-com, an international organisation to fight the alien invasion. By shooting down UFO's and recovering information from the crash sites, you can research alien technology. DirectorJulian Gollop I couldnt find the correct title but this is one of the games from the x-com series. The game I played was X-COM: Terror from the Deep (part 2). Great turn-base game that me and my brother played endlessly during our school holidays.
• Following Sam Fisher's stint as a double agent, Fisher returns out of hiding having learned that his daughter's death was no accident. DirectorSean StanekStarsMichael IronsideLynne AdamsTyrone Benskin The latest installment of an action espionage game that still has the magic after all this time. Michael Ironside is the voice over lead of the main character (Sam Fisher) and he does an amazing job. And one of the new features in the game that I thought was super cool was the Mark and Execute ability. Allowing you to target your enemies and in one fluid move you can take down up to 4 guys like!
• After a shadowy black ops team kidnaps several scientists security manager Adam Jensen was sworn to protect, he must harness the power of his new-found cybernetic augmentations to save their lives. DirectorJean-François DugasBlade ZavierStarsElias ToufexisStephen ShellenAndreas Apergis I love the new graphic for the game. I like that you can play a few different styles, Stealth ( like a ghost they never you were there ), aggressive (kill everyone in sight with all your badass gadgets and weapons) or a combination of both (hack systems or turrets to get the job done).
• The Total War series return to Japan, where it began once. Feudal intrigues and power over the whole country are already waiting for a player. DirectorMichael M. SimpsonStarsTasio AlonsoAshley AlymannRuggero Andreozzi I am a big fan of the total war series but Shogun 2 takes the golden prize. So much detail and superb audio that really gets you into the atmosphere of medieval Japan.
• A larger, more powerful agency is systematically eliminating assassins in a series of hits, who are all from Agent 47's contract killing firm, The International Contract Agency (ICA). Looking forward to the fifth installment in 2012.
• Desmond Miles is trained to become a modern-day Assassin through the resurrected memories of ancestor Ezio Auditore da Firenze, who uncovers a massive Templar conspiracy in Renaissance Italy leading to the new Pope. DirectorSylvain BernardShea WagemanStarsRoger Craig SmithKristen BellNolan North A huge leap from the first game. This super agile assassin has more moves than Jackie Chan. I love the sword fight action and racing around the beautiful buildings in Italy was spectacular.
• Threatened by an unknown enemy, Earth's governments unite to form an elite paramilitary organization, known as XCOM. As the commander of XCOM, you control the global defense team in a battle against a terrifying alien invasion. StarsJon BaileyJohn Eric BentleyBrian Bloom This updated version of the series is amazing and loving very minute of this game. There are still bugs to workout with movement tiles and camera angles but I'm sure a patch will do the job. Multiplayer mode is very interesting and havent played much on that yet. Overall a strong recommendation for strategy turn base fans.
• Four years after the events of StarCraft: Brood War (1998), Jim Raynor fights against the Dominion and begins a search for artifacts when at the same time the Zerg attack once again. • Take control of a squad of commandos, as they sneak behind enemy lines to accomplish various missions in World War II, between 1941 and 1944, that will help to thwart the war efforts of the Germans and the Japanese. StarsGerry KearseyJuan Carlos LozanoAdolfo Pastor Real Time Strategy (RTS) at its best. This game was a proper sequel to the hit game Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines which for some of the mission drew its inspiration from classic war movie that I love like, Dirty Dozen, The Bridge on the River Kwai, Where Eagles Dare and The Guns of Navarone. So the developers enhanced the graphics, gameplay, added more characters and drew on classic war movie content that made the orginal so fun to play. I still remember the mission saving private Smith! Classic game that I hope one day they will make another game following the same formular that made this title so successful because Commando: strike force was a huge disappointment.
• A republic soldier, training to become a Jedi Knight, is given the task of halting the conquest of Darth Malak by discovering the location of a weapon known as the Star Forge. DirectorCasey HudsonStarsJennifer HaleRaphael SbargeRafael Ferrer Who doesn't love to play as a bad ass Jedi, slicing and dicing with his or hers lightsabre. The storyline was mindblowing, the gameplay was great and fantastic graphics.
• Niko Bellic comes to Liberty City, America to live the good life, but ends up having to assist his dangerously indebted cousin Roman with his financial troubles, by any (mostly illegal) means necessary. StarsMichael HollickJason ZumwaltTimothy Adams I love this game because its set in New York City. One of my favourite places in the world and this game takes me right back there. How this game has grown up from a top down view to a 3D simulated third person view. The new trailer for GTA 5 looks super slick.
• Build a dungeon to your own design, lay traps and doors to protect yourself, recruit an army of foul creatures and lure the heroic adventurers to their doom in your quest to reach the surface world of humankind. I would definately buy it.
• Fourth installment in the turn-based strategy series Civilization, adding new tools to manage and expand your civilization, all-new easy to use mod capabilities and intense multiplayer modes and options. I still can remember the first game with its simple graphics and limited options but somehow it managed to turn me into a huge strategy gamer is amazing. I was only into Artari, Sega and Nintendo(NES) consoles but this game was one of the first games I played on the PC. I think it might be the first game I played and finished on the PC. To think back Doom only came out in 1993. So civ 1 is the first game i played on PC.
• After a group of extreme worshipers of new steampunk technology leaves the cult of builders known as the Hammerites to form a cult of their own called the Mechanists, master-thief Garrett is asked to investigate their true intentions. StarsStephen RussellSam BabbittNeil Forman Probably the game that defined stealth first person games. Its use sound FX and artwork made this game and part 1 (Thief: Dark Project) a classic game for me. I greatly look forward to the forth installment which maybe out in 2012.
• You play an elite commando for a unique covert operations unit hunting for a mysterious fugitive who commands a clone army while mysterious things occur around you. • Sent in to investigate an alien meteor crash, Nomad must fight through the North Korean Army which has also arrived, only to discover North Korea is the least of their worries. DirectorCevat YerliStarsClaudia BlackAndré SogliuzzoKristy Swanson Open sandbox FPS game with beautiful graphics of the tropical jungle. I had to upgrade my PC to play this game but it was so worth it.
• The brooding cop has left the DEA and returned to the NYPD. When his latest case ends up involving the thought-dead femme fatale Mona Sax, he finds that his journey through the night is far from over. StarsJames McCaffreyWendy HoopesJonathan Davis Bullet Time! The third game will be coming out sometime in 2012. Looking forward to it.
