It is really amazing. I love this light-weighted lotion. It is so easy to spread and the tangy smell is very pleasant! The closest I could get to the texture I wanted was Biore fluid, but I could still feel it on my face when touched. This one is the perfect sunscreen for me! The texture is just insanely good, it is silky, spreads like a dream, and looks matte on your skin, without leaving any greasy residue! After some time you can neither feel it nor see it on your face which is exactly what I want. The only thing is (and I don’t know whether it is even sun screen’s fault) that I felt my eyes burning occasionally as if something got into them. I first used it in a tropical climate with very intense sun and humidity and it performed brilliantly. Now I am in a very dry climate with intense sun and it is performing just as well. My skin is extremely dry lately so I do apply a bit of moisture underneath and I believe the sunscreen in and of itself is a bit moisturizing. It is very liquid and you must shake the product well before application. It applies smoothly with a slight sheen but dries down perfectly with no white cast. It’s lovely on its own but plays well with a full face of makeup if desired. It definitely gives great protection from the sun, awesome product. What kind of sunscreen is Anessa?Anessa's sunscreens are non- comedogenic, designed to be friction- resistant, has a signature Citrus fragrance (a little strong, but manageable), and can be easily rinsed off with soap and water. You can also use them on the face and body!
What is the difference between Anessa milk and gel?Between the two, the gel sunscreen left a slightly oilier finish compared to the milk version. For people with combination skin, this is the version for you. Both sunscreens apply really well, while staying lightweight and hydrating to the skin. They have little to no white cast.
Why is Anessa sunscreen so good?Shiseido's Anessa sunscreen has a good coverage against the UVA and UVB spectrum. It contains zinc oxide, one of the few sunscreen filters that blocks the entire UVA and UVB spectrum. What I also like about Shiseido Anessa Perfect UV Sunscreen is its cosmetic elegance. This sunscreen feels light and dries quickly.
Does Anessa clog pores?The sunscreen is not sticky at all and the thinness of the product helps my skin breathe (no pores clogged!). Also, I think that because my skin absorbed the sunscreen really fast, it felt like I did not have anything on my face at all, which is perfect for applying makeup!
