The current styling is present for years now, and this SUV is finally getting a new look. Toyota will deliver new architecture, most likely the TNGA-F platform. The same platform underpins the Tundra truck and Sequoia SUV. Thanks to that, the new Land Cruiser Prado will lose some weight and it will provide better driving dynamics. Toyota's bZ4X has 201 hp and 196 lb-ft of torque. There's an AWD model that produces 214 hp and 248 lb-ft of torque. It has an EPA-estimated range of up to 525 miles, which is actually good. According to reviewers, the bZ4X should be able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 6.9 seconds, which is acceptable. Their latest reveal was a concept EV at the 2021 Shanghai Motor show called the bZ4X. The Toyota bZ4X is the first electric car under the company's new Beyond Zero (bZ) lineup of cars with zero carbon emissions. Toyota is going all out because they plan to release 70 new models by 2025. Some of these models will be battery-electric, hydrogen fuel cell, and gas-electric hybrids. The reason for releasing different models is so that their customers will have a range of diverse choices. They will build these vehicles using a flexible platform they developed together with fellow Japanese automaker Subaru.
