What are the three levels of dramatic play?

What type of play is water play?

Water play is an open ended activity, which allows children to make discoveries and explore outcomes. Simple things like watching objects sink or float develops problem solving skills as they begin to learn why and how things happen.

Why is it important for children to be provided with opportunities for group and individual play?

Play-based learning is important to a child's development of social and emotional skills, such as the ability to develop positive relationships with peers. As children play together, they learn to get along with one another, cooperate, communicate effectively, problem solve and resolve conflicts.
