How do I install DST mods?Find the mod that you want to install, click on the "Download" button to download the mod files. Run your Don't Starve Standalone client and click on "Mods" on the main menu. Activate the mod you want to use by clicking on the checkbox to the left of the mod. Click on "OK" to apply the changes; play the game!
How can I make my DST run better?Here are some things you could try:. Play in Windowed mode and scale the window size down. I have found that the smaller the window is, the better the FPS. ... . But its safer for you all to have the same mods.. Character mods and mod that add in items more then any others. Well besides the smart crock pot mod.. that one crashes you hard if you don't have it and the server does.. So yeah grab all the same mods if you can.
