level 1 Uhhh, I got bad news for you fam….. level 2 Last I looked they were going to give it a rear wheel drive and push it upscale to try and compete with Audi A4 and BMW 3? Did the plan change. I now need to learn Japanese and make a couple calls. level 2 I thought they were skipping the 2022 and coming back new with 2023? level 2 The paint and body have held up remarkably well for a car I purchased in October of 2015. I don't abuse it, but I don't exactly pamper it either. Just drive through car washes about once a month and a wax job yearly. 84,000 miles and it's time for the first brake job finally. level 1 The tires though...New Orleans roads have done me wrong there. This is the third set. level 1 We still have the mazda 6 in Saudi Arabia. And I don’t think they will be canceling them. If the 2023 version drops, do you guys want me to show you guys how it looks? level 2 If y'all get a preview, absolutely! level 1 Love it. Got the 2020 and the interior, exterior and quality of the ride are top notch for its value. The 2.5l turbo is fun, but I'm constantly looking for a v6 twin turbo awd release. Hoping it will be 2023 level 1 2023 will look like “unaffordable” level 2 That's the thing about the 6. When I bought my 2016, the base model was $17,900 or close and the top end was almost $35,000. At the time a base BMW 3 was about $33,500 and it was comparable with the top of the line. Who Makes the Most Reliable New Cars? | In order: Toyota, Lexus, BMW, Mazda, Honda, Audi, Subaru, Acura, Kia, Lincoln, Buick, Genesis, Hyundai, Volvo, Nissan, Ram, Cadillac, Ford, Tesla, Chevy, GMC, VW, Jeep, MercedesProbably nothing that Mazda6 enthusiasts didn't already know. RWD, inline 6, likely with an 8-speed auto and available AWD, Skyactiv-X. "Mazda's planning documents tell us at least some of the inline-six applications will feature electrification to reduce carbon emissions." Targeting the same market segment as Mercedes C-class and BMW's 3-series (~$40K MSRP) level 1 Best looking in that segment by a long shot level 2 In Europe we have Peugeot 508 which is nice too. But besides that... It gets thin. level 2 2021 was the last year they made them in the US. level 1 Agree, beautiful car, design, practically and efficiency. Sad most people are drawn to cheap Camrys and accords just because of a perceived reliability which might have been true 10-20 years ago. level 2 I am sure read that they have no plans to bring it state side at all level 1 I still drive a first gen 6 with 153k km :) level 1 What!? I'm doing my best to keep mine alive and running well, but I'd be lying if I said I hadn't considered getting a new one. level 2 Start looking for 2020 & 2021 previous Leased vehicles next year, cause they will be your best bet for a replacement. level 1 They are beautiful cars my 2018 after a good wash and wax looks better then most luxury cars. level 1 Looks like the value of it went up a lot because of it though level 1 Wait, they're discontinuing it? I thought it was sticking around, just not on the new RWD platform. RIP. level 2 I think only europe will get it. Really hope they revert on the i6 rwd idea. Could really compete with the overpriced bmw s level 1 I love how they look and drive but man the base engine is gutless. Not to mention the turbo is wasted on the 6 speed transmission. I had a 2018 accord 2.0t and that thing was as fun if not more fun to drive than the 6. But in terms of refinement the 6 beats it. level 2 I agree there, but I'd still take 6 over a CVT engine personally.
